Jillian Noel Shennessy born 25th November, 1968, in Canada is a Canadian performer and actress who was acknowledged for her contribution for American television. She is renowned for her impressive performances on the American television show Law & Order where she impressed viewers for three seasons as the prosecutor Claire Kincaid and Crossing Jordan wherein she played the protagonist Jordan Cavanaugh for six seasons. Hennessy is also famous for her outstanding performances in RoboCop 3 Most Wanted. Some other movies are Chutney Popcorn (an independent film) as well as The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career in 1988, alongside her sister in the role of twin call girls in Dead Ringers. She spent a short time on Broadway as part of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story, before moving into science fiction in 1993 in the role of the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. In the autumn of that year, she joined the crew of the NBC hit crime show Law & Order in the part of the assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
